100% pure New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel Powder (GLMP) is harvested from mussels found in the New Zealand’s Marlborough Sounds. The mussels are then extracted via centrifuge, freeze-dried and defatted in Germany using a revolutionary patented process that maintains the activity and properties of the vitamins and amino acids contained within the mussels in their natural state.

Our GLMP has been lightly defatted to enable better mixing and solubility with other ingredients to produce a high quality mix that provides an all-natural source of Glucosamine for joint relief in humans.

GLMP has one of the highest levels of Betain of any marine product. Betain is as Amino Acid Trimethylglycine (TMG), which also stimulates and excites the appetite. The total Betain content of GLMP is 4.2%.

These active ingredients are responsible for the anti-inflammatory and lubricating properties and result in the ongoing self-repair and replenishment of joints.
